What I shoot: Glamour, fashion and portraits.

Where I shoot: In a well-equipped home studio and on location.

How I work: I use a professional digital camera (a Fuji S2 Professional), but I haven't abandoned film. I often use my Nikon F4 or Nikon FM2 to take advantage of the special look Fuji Astia film provides. Studio lighting is from a pair of soft box-equipped Alien Bees B800 monolights, supplemented by a Novatron 400VR power pack, and Novatron heads.

Who do I shoot: Take a moment to see for yourself by looking at the images here. I'm selective about who I shoot. When I have commercial work to offer, unless the choice of the model is dictated by the client, I use models who have shot with me in the past. I limit the number of free TFP or test shoots that I do. If you're interested in shooting with me, press the Contact button on this page.

What I believe: I use high tech equipment and editing techniques, but I avoid gimmicks and tricks. I believe the best work comes from a true collaboration between the photographer and the model. I work best with models who are creative and eager to bring their own ideas to the shoot.

Safety for models: I furnish references and think all models should ask for them. I encourage models to bring someone along to all shoots. Models under 18 are required to bring a parent or adult guardian to all shoots.
